Robert Haviland & Charles Field - Haviland & Co. Limoges - Musée Claude Monet (27) - Porcelana
Exceptional edition: Musee Claude Monet by Charles Field & Robert Haviland.
Approx. 1990-1995
In 1898, Monet designed a porcelain dinnerware by painting a simple white plate with a blue border and a yellow border.
In 1978 the Claude Monet foundation commissioned Robert Haviland and C. Parlon from Limoges to make that original dinnerware once again. Only available in Giverny's gift shop. Although this turned out not to be for everyone, saddened by the price. If you want to buy a plate, it will cost you $155 per plate. And a single five-part place setting was $570. Standard set for 6 people, was almost $3500. This was clearly an out of the ordinary price range.
