Marie Sinclair, Countess of Caithness (1830 – 2 November 1895), is particularly remembered for her interest in spiritualism and theosophy and her association with Helena Blavatsky, whose occult successor she claimed to be.
We offer here for auction one of her most valuable works, a book in very good condition, in editio princeps, published by the prestigious publishing house Trubner & Co. Cover in blue silk with beautiful gold patterns. I think this book has not been read, because it still has pages attached to each other (at the top), from manufacture, from printing. A must have for any book lover on the subject of esotericism/spirituality.
Ok, you can buy this book as new, reprint, but old books have a special, inimitable charm and fragrance. And that's why some of us adore them.
A very rare book. I haven't found a single copy on the Internet.
