6 Unique and beautiful, top quality Candlesticks. A Unique set of 6. Victorian style candlestick lamps with an elegant design, that were made in the 1950s by the firm of De Haan in Rotterdam DHR Holland. Created out of brass with a gold colour and topped with beautiful ball-shaped glass orbs. These are partly transparent. The shades have a classis pattern with the mark DHR on the underside of the footing. The brass has some minor stains - but despite these the lamps are still great quality. they are purposely unpolished as this would depend upon your own tastes and needs. In each candlestick a large spring is placed within for affixing the candle to keep it upright. You may well hear a metallic noise on occasion when a candle moves. Two of the candlesticks have no spring and are thus incomplete. One is a little askew but has always been so. Spare parts still easy to obtain. These are available from De Haan Rotterdam DHR Holland. Height: 39 cm. Diameter glass shades: 15 cm. Length: footing - 9.5 cm. Total weight: approx. 12 kg. In view of the fragile glass shades we prefer these be collected from us.
