A beautiful and rare mailbox of the Regie Poste Italiane.
On the front it bears in addition to the royal emblem, the writings "Cassetta per le lettere" and "Regie Poste".
Manufacturer’s mark on the bottom “Off. Mecc. A. Mancini Roma".
Made of cast iron; it shows signs of ageing and use, it still has traces of the mortar used to hang it on the wall inside.
Still equipped with metal brackets for fixing it to the wall.
The lower door is still equipped with the original lock, without a key.
