Loris di Falco was born in Milan in 1961. In 1986 he graduated in painting at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan. He worked as a painter and designer until 2000, when he founded the contemporary art gallery Obraz. Since 2011 he has been an art dealer, curator and artist.
Loris di Falco has a personal dreamlike vision represented by three symbolic elements of historic Milan: the Duomo, the Torre Velasca and an old orange tram.
The same goes for the city of Venice with its iconic San Marco bell tower
The work was made with the Gum bichromate technique, typical of Di Falco; he gives life to the monuments he portrays, providing the viewer with a vision of the metropolis covered with a decadent patina
