A handsome large 19th century shaker of Dutch silver with a blue glass inner container.
This shaker is fully created in the Louis XVI style.
The silver framework has been particularly beautifully crafted with sawn openwork motifs..
Also decorated with garlands, and decorated columns adorned with a flower.

Fineness mark of a Sword.
Master’s mark G7S = Gerardus Schoorl Zaandijk 1875-1914.
This is a large shaker, Measurements are: Diameter: 3.5 cm and Height: 9 cm.
Total weight: 62.3 g.
This shaker is in particularly beautiful and intact condition, undented and unscratched.
The glass inner container of the shaker has a small chip on the outside of the upper rim (This is invisible when the glass is inserted inside the holder. Please see the photos.).
This is a striking and particularly decorative item due to its size, beautiful shape and detailed decoration.
The lid has a pearled rim all-round that seals the shaker thoroughly, and is thus still perfect for regular everyday use.
