E. Piercel de Saint Jacques seems to be a bottler, as I have seen armagnac and marc "offered" by Piercel also.
It is difficult to find much informations about this company.
In cognacs, Napoleon grade is better than VSOP but younger than XO. It should be a really great product with many years aging in oak barrels.
The bottle looks like a 1930's or 1940's production, dark green glass, very hollow bottom with the "ball", evidently manufactured blown uneven glass, wax sealing over driven cork.
There is some pieces remaining of the original iron wire netting.
Level is visible on last picture and I have indicated it with red dots.
The label only mentions the brand, the grade, and an address in Paris
For condition see pictures.
Free of charge with this lot a "cork saver" to remove broken corks or corks dropped down into the bottles - very useful tool! cork often breaks upon opening on those old bottles.
