Graffiti with acrylic paint on mannequin.
Over Bob Timmer.
Bob a.k.a. Mister Metro is an artist born in 1982 in Alkmaar,
living in Schagen in North Holland, the Netherlands.
Bob mainly creates graffiti and street art.
The love of graffiti originated quite early, in the early 1990s.
This was associated with his love and interest in New York street culture associated with his other passion; the hip hop scene from this golden era.
Bob does not limit himself to 1 thing. He always has a few acrylic markers in his bag.
Paintings on walls, canvas, mannequins, newspapers, model trains, human bodies, you name it; he draws on it.
His work can be found all over the world, starting with his home country The Netherlands via New York in the United States, even to Moscow and St. Petersburg in Russia and more.
He appeared in several news items and articles in several cities in Russia and the United States and was also on the front pages of the newspapers there.
The people at the New York version of the Metro newspaper were even such a fan of his artwork that they asked him to design the front page of their so-called Fall Arts Guide edition.
The Metro newspaper from his home country of the Netherlands has also asked him to design the front page for their latest edition of the year.
Through all his drawings on the front pages of the Metro, he earned his "Mr Metro" nickname.
Bob uses multiple pseudonyms, depending on which techniques he uses and in which style.
Most graffiti work can be found under the name (mr) Metro or 82timerbomb.
This is an acronym of his full name Bob Timmer and his birth year '82
Pop art paintings can be found under his own name Bob.
Digital drawings usually include Bob or BDA (Which includes the DA for Digital Art).
All his work is always placed under one collective; Team Dead Fly (TDF).
Within TDF his work can be found together with work from other graffiti and street artists.
