2 gorgeous handpainted vases, white porcelain with the deep blue color, painted with the flower Helleborus Niger wich is also known as a "Christmas Rose".
Christmas Rose is the name of this lovely porcelain series as well, is was designed by Ceclie Louise Hallin in 1936 and produced by the famous Danish company Bing & Grondahl in Denmark. Tall thin one is made in 1960's and the other is produced in the 1970's.
Both is in very well maintained contained, the glaze is intact and shiny and it has no chips or cracks at all.

Bing & Grondahl is a Danish pottery company formed in 1853 by Frederik Vilhelm Grondahl and the two Herman Bing brothers.
Their bestseller was the popular "Seagull" designed by Fanny Garde in 1892
In the 1950s to the 1980s it went so popular, as it was considered the "National Service of Denmark" During that period 10% of Danish households had the "Seagull" service on table.
1987 the company merged with its primary competitor, the Royal Porcelain Factory under the name Royal Copenhagen.
Ceclie Louise Hallinn is married with FA Hallin who was the creator of the first Christmas plate in 1895, which can also be clearly recognized in this frame with the carving decorations and beautiful blue color.
