68 print forms of surgical instruments from the famous French manufacturer GENTIL, used for the catalogue of 1923 (see photos, 3 images of this catalog for illustration only, are not part of this lot).
In 1866, the Charrière house was sold after auction to two former employees of Frédéric Charrière: Robert and Collin who published their first and only catalogue in 1867. The property was later taken over by Pierre Urbain Louis Collin; his grandson Pierre succeeded him in 1923. Pierre Gentille takes the old House Charrière, which became Collin's house in 1957. The Charrière-Collin-Gentile fund was sold in 1972 when Pierre Gentile retired. With the sale of this fund, one hundred and fifty years of activity of the most illustrious French manufacturer of surgical instruments was completed.
