The Enschedese School was a publishing house of contemporary visual arts in print that published four to six times a year under the motto Modern Art by Mail, only obtained through an annual subscription.
Together with Hard Werken from Rotterdam and Wild Plakken from Amsterdam seen as designer collectives, who in the 1980s brought innovation with an "eclectic, unconventional and experimental style."
