Very beautiful antique ship compass by Henry Browne & Son.
Made in Essex on oak stand.

The brass casing is on an oak stand, the casing for the compass has two holders, both with the original oil light. In the casing the original Bergen Nautik Norway compass.
The compass is in a truly beautiful and well-functioning condition. No air bubbles in the compass liquid. All windows are intact also the small windows of the holders for the oil lights. With the two original stabilization spheres.
Due to its size a beautiful maritime decoration object, for a desk/table or counter. But of course also just usable as a maritime instrument on a boat.
