Depiction of a climactic scene from play 浜真砂長久御摂 "Hama no Masago Tsukinu Gohiiki", first performed at the Kawarazaki theater on the 3rd month of Kaei 4 (1851).

Signed Ichiyusai Kuniyoshi ga (inscribed in double-gourd shaped cartouche), and artist's kiri (pauwlonia) seal.

Unfortunately the woodblock has been bent in half by the former owner on the scotch tape line it present on the back. It present a bend and will also be send bent for necessity of dimensions shipping.
