I offer a nice lot of samurai items: a jingasa hat with various crests on the inside and a kamishimo.
The jingasa (lit. "camp hat") was a type of hat worn by Japanese warriors when traveling or encamped. Ichimonji means "one crest symbol" and represents a samurai clan. Made of black and red lacqered pressed paper.
The kamishimo samurai formal clothes, features a kataginu, a sleeveless jacket with pleated wing-like extended shoulder pieces, and a hakama, made in a matching pattern and color.
The jingasa is in reasonable conditions for its age, suffered a hit on one side resulting in cracks on the laquer as pictures sow. The kamishimo is in good conditions, some normal signs of wearing due to time a bamboo slat to be replaced.
Size is around 42x8cm.
JIngasa late 19th century.
Kamishimo first-half 20th
The items are in the European Union, no hidden import taxes within the EU.
