A full dress Japanese Court Uniform with sword in original wooden box.
The Chokuninkan is one of the highest ranks in Japan which was therefore appointed by the Emperor himself.
One clerked the post of Minister or the highest judge
The clothing is very rare and it is covered with a gold embroidery and paulownia this is 5-7-5.
The jacket/cardigan is made of wool and deep black in colour. 5-7-5 leaf paulownia flower
Of course the hat is distinctive and very special also this one is complete with storage box
But then the beautiful Sabre really magnificent this also dates Meiji 19 period and is one with the uniform.
Chokunin-kan with the 5-7-5 kiri on top of the handle and guard on the bow of the handle you will find the 4 blossoms that run through
on the sheath of the sword.
The handle is beautifully wound with gold wire, a magnificent sabre of the first order a museum piece!
