Offered are two photographic screen prints by Paul Blanca (born 1958) from the series 'Sangre del Toro'.
Both screen prints are framed in a specially, custom made frame with museum acrylate. It is framed in a way that the signature and title are visible at the bottom. A beautiful diptych for the wall.
"Sangre del Toro" is a series of eight screen prints printed with bull's blood. In the early 90s Blanca lived in Spain for two years. Bullfighting and local seasonal events kept him busy. Not the Bullfight itself, but how the bulls ended up on plates in restaurants, intrigued him. He used the blood, which, according to him, is the liquid of life, as screen printing ink for his series 'Sangre de Toro'. Only after printing 35 times, did Blanca achieve the darkest red.
