Exhibición de maniquí vintage Twiggy / cabeza / busto - Art Déco - plástico / plástico

Beautifully iconic vintage Twiggy display mannequin display / head / bust in good condition. Twiggy, actually Lesley Hornby (born 19th September 1949), is a British supermodel, actress and singer. Twiggy was born in the London suburb of Neasden, as the daughter of William Norman (carpenter) and Helen Hornby. Twiggy became known at the age of 16 for the involvement of her then boyfriend and manager Justin de Villeneuve. After she was pictured in the British Vogue in 1967 she grew into a cult figure and became the face of Swinging London in the 1960s. Her nickname Twiggy ('Twig') she got through her slender, almost boyish figure. Twiggy original hard plastic mannequin head. Icon from the sixties. The English top model with big eyes, long neck, eye-catching make-up and hairstyle, which launched revolutionary fashion and jewellery in the 1960s. The Twiggy head was used in shops to display hats, scarves and jewellery. This is a funky collector’s item in very good vintage condition. At the bottom right, the hard plastic of the bust is slightly damaged. This is hardly noticeable. See the final photo for this. Very nice in a vintage / retro interior or shop window and for the collector. The Twiggy display will be well packaged and sent by registered mail with Track & Trace. The photos are also a part of the description and of the condition.
