Polyester gives it shine, and marble dust makes it heavy.
This material, which looks and feels like real marble, is often used on film sets.

It is part of an array of museum-like looking works, created at Todini’s laboratory in the 1990s
In 2011, the Lazio Region classified Todini workshop as a lab “of high aesthetic and cultural value”, and granted the use of an origin and quality mark.
In 2015, the Osservatorio dei Mestieri d’Arte in Florence (OMA) included these works in the Italian trades list of excellence
