Wooden netsuke tengu holding its long nose with both hands in a quirky way, to stir the miso in a bowl held between its feet. Wearing a tokin cap, the long hair and wings on the back are sculpted in a detailed way. Pleasant patina
Himotoshi under the base.

Edo period (early 19th century).
In great condition.
