THREE BEAUTIFUL Soba Bowls (Sobo Choko) in KO-IMARI porcelain from Japan. Precise decoration, nervous, stylised, outside as well as inside, partially unglazed underneath. Use: the soja sauce is placed at the bottom of the Soba Choko, in which the Japanese noodles are dipped.
Middle of the EDO period, production called KO-IMARI (old Imari) from the early 18th century.
Condition: EXCELLENT condition, small chips,
1. Manganese bowl: Height 5.9 cm, diameter 8 cm
2. Dark blue bowl: Height 7.2 cm, diameter 8.2 cm
3. Blue grid bowl: Height 6.3 cm, diameter 8.3 cm
