Wakizashi - TAMAHAGANE - Antiguo japonés shinogi-zukuri wakizashi en koshirae - Japón - Periodo Edo (1600-1868)

Antique Japanese shinogi - zukuri wakizashi in koshirae. The blade was forged in Edo period , "mumei ". The blade has old polish and shows some fine scratches and stains , minor "kizu", no crack, a small chip in the kissaki, "cutting edge" is sharp, "gunome- doran" hamon, "itame hada" ,ubu nakago" . Length "nagasa": 42.8 cm, "motogasane": 6 mm, "motohaba " : 2.5 cm. Total length in koshirae: 64 cm. The koshirae made in Edo period , the saya urushi-lacquered , ( the saya and tsuka have traces of use), kogatana and the beautiful shakudo "kodogu" (sword fittings) complete this wakizashi.
