Very rare Yamaha WR450F 2-Trac (2-wheel drive) from 2004. Probably 445 units were built between 2004 and 2005, there are also stories that Yamaha never made it to the 250. The WR450F 2-Trac entered the consumer market in 2004. Very pricey for that time. This WR was imported in the Netherlands from Belgium in 2016. Ready to use with normal wear consistent with its age. It is the world's first production two-wheel-drive system for motorcycles. The WR450F 2-Trac is the result of a joint development between Yamaha and Öhlins Racing AB. Yamaha tested the system during the Paris-Dakar. David Frétigné finished 7th overall as a rookie driver in 2004. And even first in the 450cc class. As you can see in generally very good condition, tyres, battery, oil, chain and gears were recently replaced. It drives, brakes and shifts without issues. The important 2-Trac system works well.
