Hendrik Cornelis Kranenburg (1917-1997) - Havengezicht

The painter Hendrik Cornelis Kranenburg has lived and worked in Amsterdam, Laren (1943) and since 1962 in Bergen op Zoom. He was a student of the national academy of fine arts in Amsterdam under the direction of HJ Jurres and WH van den Berg.

Hendrik Kranenburg made paintings, watercolours, signed (with pen), he made etchings and lithographs featuring cityscapes, landscapes and portraits. He also made wall paintings, played piano with great skill and was a gifted sculptor.
