Avalon Ballroom 1/24-26/69
Considered by many to be one of the greatest rock posters of all time, this classic Rick Griffin design is known as “Aoxomoxoa,” and was used as the title and cover design for the Grateful Dead’s third album. After the Family Dog left the Avalon Ballroom, Soundproof Productions became the first company to produce rock shows there.
The second printing was printed on medium-weight stock and measures approximately 70 x 54 cm.
This printing was produced for the Roundhouse show in London and is marked as “1976 European Limited Edition” and bears a serial number.
Poster has some minor folding but is in Very Good Plus condition. See scans.
