Riekele Prins was born in Kollumerzwaag on 25 April 1905 and died in Groningen on 14 May 1954.
Was initially a machinist.
Pupil of Jan Derksen Staats. Later a teacher of Douwe van der Meulen.
Is called "the etching of the Groningen landscape".
Member of "De Grafische".
Graphic artist, painter and draughtsman.
