A fascinating urban view of Moscow by the famous watercolourist Ivan Krashniy (Slavyansk, 1917 - 1990) with a beautiful gilt wooden frame.
Ivan Krashniy studied at the Kiev Art Institute, specializing in watercolour. The artist soon achieved considerable successes and his works are exhibited both in Russia and abroad. Some of his works can be found in the collections of the National Museum of Art in Ukraine, and in many other state museums. Krashniy later combined his creative work with teaching at the Kiev Art Institute, where he worked for 35 years.
