Philips Wouwerman (1619 - 1668) (Seguace) - Paesaggio con cavalieri personaggi sullo sfondo

Oil painting on canvas depicting a landscape with knights, characters with a shepherd dog and sheep, with a landscape in the distance. Painted by a disciple of the Dutch master Wouwerman, certainly painted in Italy. The work has a non-coeval frame from the late 19th century. The work has small restorations on the sky and some scattered grits at the bottom of the base. In overall good condition, it comes from a private Roman collection and shows a relining from the early 1900s.
