Baccarat crystal vase, silver plated metal mount, Malmaison model.
The Malmaison model appeared over 100 years ago and got this name in 1921. A catalogue of this year 1921 was specifically designed with many variations of the model: sets of glasses, carafes, shaped pieces and vases.
Our vase is an early 20th piece and do not have the signing of Baccarat, the crystal-glass making factory began to affix its acid-etched stamp in 1936.
It is a large model, very decorative with its frame decorated with gadroons.
The whole is in excellent condition.
