Levinus Arie Cornelis van de Bundt was a Dutch painter, etcher and graphic artist.
He was educated at the royal academy of fine arts in The Hague.
Initially, he mainly made etchings and woodcuts.
In November of 1947, he founded the free academy in The Hague.
He was the director until 1964.
In the 1960s, he developed as an avant-garde artist.
He experimented with light sources, light-guiding and light sensitive materials and called himself a 'light artist'.
