Anton Pieck (1895 - 1987) - Casuaris

The block-print of this etching was hand-signed by Anton Pieck on the bottom right.
The thing that makes this piece special is that it is a so-called test print, something that Anton Pieck has also written on the bottom left in pencil. The photo was taken at an angle, in order to make the reflections as minimal as possible.

The paper behind the etching shows some light brown blots as testament to its age.
