It is a portable military phone made in bakelite boxes. The top of the phone box is closed with a lid that locks with a lock. These devices are designed for telephony between remote troops in the field - through such a device, e.g. the commander of a division can communicate with that of the company.
By turning the crank - which is called "inductor call", an electrical voltage is created and sends an electrical signal to the other phone, which in turn causes its bell to sound.
There are two power options - battery and two-wire cable.
Such a field telephone is still stored in the Military History Museum of Artillery, Engineering Troops and the Signal Corps in St. Petersburg.
Dear buyers, given the global situation and the restrictions imposed by the Corona virus pandemic, please note that extended delivery times are possible. Some countries are blacklisted for sending goods to Bulgarian Posts. There are two options for such countries:
1. Wait for the ban to be lifted.
2. Sending with alternative courier companies such as - UPS, DHL, INTERLOGISTICA and others, for which you pay extra.
Please contact me using the contact form on the CATAWIKI website before you pay.
Each of my shipments travels with a fragile sticker, declared value, and delivery notice. I also put a special package of airfoil. All this makes transport more expensive, but guarantees trouble-free and secure delivery.
