Continental school, XVIII-XIX century - Cattle on a mountainside near the coast

I am offering for auction a very large and impressive late 18th or early 19th century oil on canvas of figures on a mountainside with cattle overlooking a coastline with town and harbour below. A painting worthy of further research. Discovered in an attic where it had remained for decades. Frame was completely ruined so sold as unframed.

Condition. In fair condition. Please inspect all images for accurate condition. Might do with a clean. Some craquelure.
