Condition is good , the frame has some wear and the passe-partout a small hole and a stain in the top right corner ,please see the photos for details , the photos show some reflection of the glass there are no stains in the picture itself

Leon Danchin was a French artist who specialized in the design and painting of hunting dogs. He was born on June 21st, 1887 in Lille, France and studied sculpture at the school of Fine Arts in Paris before being accepted by the ‘Salon des Artistes’ at the age of 16. Danchin started to work with watercolour and printmaking, creating nearly 100 engravings and lithographs throughout his career. He enjoyed a considerable commercial success in France, Belgium, in the United States and in England. He subsequently moved to Bergues in Northern of France where frequently went hunting and sought inspiration for his works, drawing many hunting scenes which made him famous. He died on August 4th, 1938 in Bergues.
