Depiction and brief description: Saint with dog, crucifix and skull, very rare subject, in fact the placement of the little dog is very unusual in a painting with full religious inspiration. This makes it very unique, also note the certain dating of the painting and the name of the saint depicted, elements that contribute to make the item interesting for demanding enthusiasts and collectors.
Quality: The quality of execution can be seen in many details, in the face of the saint, in the little dog, in the background architectures, etc.
Condition: the painting is in good condition, first canvas, there are no visible tears, the canvas is firm, well anchored to the stretcher, there is an extensive cracking of the surface, typical of ancient paintings, very pleasant and non-invasive, obviously there are also small abrasions and slight defects, typical of a used object, then slight yellowing on the surface due to dirt accumulated over time or due to old paints.
