I am selling this Montblanc fountain pen from the Writers Edition series of 1995, this model is called the Voltaire, as it was styled to the history and lifestyle of the famous writer. It has an 18 karat solid gold nib, size F (for Fine). It looks practically new. It comes delivered complete with the book shaped box, paper box and cardboard sleeve.

"The Writers Edition Voltaire seems to reflect the fascinating personality of Voltaire in every detail. The surface of black precious resin appears just as unfathomable as his thoughts. The engraved mountings and the cap top in vermeil – gold-plated 925 sterling silver – are as rich as the possessions of Voltaire, whose gold-coloured signature decorates the cap of the pen. The 18-karat gold nib, made by a master craftsman, is finished off by delicate engravings reminiscent of the age of Voltaire."
