Circa 1770-80
The pastel is on paper pasted on canvas and mounted on stretcher. A strip of paper was added at the top. To do this the artist had to enlarge the stretcher by adding wooden bracket to the back of the painting. The pastel has not been restored and is in excellent condition (rare). A beautiful light and great colours.
