The Pipistrello lamp was designed by Gae Aulenti in 1965 and produced until today by Martinelli Luce. It is a table or floor lamp, characterised by the elusive shape of the conical base which extends upwards and widens into the sides of the diffuser, like the way a bat spreads its wings.
Lamp with diffused light, adjustable in height. The telescopic part is made of satin-finish stainless steel, the diffuser is made of opal white methacrylate. Black lacquered aluminium base and finial. Light source: built-in LED. Power supply unit on plug.
