WW2 US M1 Helmet with Camo Net (Origineel)

MINE SAFETY APPLIANCE (MSA)
Manufactured in Pittsburgh, Pennslyvannia this "high pressure" manufactured M-1 helmet liner is identified by an embossed "MSA" in the crown. Mine Safety Appliance started M-1 helmet liner delivery to the US Army in September 1942. They produced approximately between 2,000,000 - 4,000,000 M-1 helmet liners and discontinued producton around August 17, 1945 when the war ended.
The helmet is in used condition, has the original Cork Paint, the liner has lost his paint on some places, chinstrap of the helmet (pot) is in good conition for the age. Chinstrap of the liner is probably post-war (look at the photos)
The head stamp in the pot is there but difficult to read. Look at the 3 last photos
