A finely hand painted porcelain plaque, depicting the immaculate conception of the Virgin Mary, standing on the moon while gazing upwards and surrounded by winged cherubs. KPM (Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur), Berlin, late 19th/early 20th century. Signed by painter: E. Böhm.
Impressed KPM and sceptre mark.

After the painting 'Immaculate Conception' by Bartolomé Murillo (1617-1682) from 1678, currently in Museo del Prado, Madrid.
In good condition.
With original giltwood frame: needs to be reinforced to be used, has signs of use, back is split.
Provenance: label and handwritten note: in 1951 it was presented by doctors of St. Theresia hospital to Sr. Judoca on the occasion of 40th jubilee celebration.
