Stamped shell in one piece, including visor and neck strap, in a manganese steel plate, shaped like an ovalized hemisphere at the base.
Painted dark black, some wear and tear.
Ventilation is provided by a set of 6 holes arranged in staggered rows at the bottom of the shell.
Crest in steel of the same shape as the model 1923 with notch at the level of the air holes of the shell, held in place by 4 rivets with mushroom head.
Plaque in stamped and cut steel sheet, depicting a flaming grenade inside a shield, framing the initials ‘D.P.’ (for Passive Defence) and topped with a long iron crest.
