Meissen porcelain plate probably from the second half of the 19th century, sold white to a decoration studio and hand-signed by the artist who painted it.
Meissen Porcelain was one of the first European porcelain manufacturers for type and processing techniques. The company was established in 1708 by Ehrenfried Walther von Tschirnhaus and his assistant Johann Friedrich Böttger, who had the merit of introducing the pieces to the market.
This plate has a 42 cm diameter and 6 cm height. The base diameter is 27 cm.
