Offered a beautiful large tooth of one of the largest carnivorous dinosaurs that ever lived. The Carcharodontosaurus is closely related to the Tyrannosaurus rex. It could grow up to 13 meters in length with a weight of 15 tons. This incisor has a size of 7.2 cm. The serration on the side is beautifully preserved for the most part as you can see in the pictures. The tooth also has a beautiful light brown patina. The tooth was found broken in the layer and glued. The resulting crack is filled up. Other than that, the tooth is original. Nice Carcharodontosaurus teeth of this size are rare.
This tooth comes from the Kem Kem formation in the southeast of Morocco. The age is Late Cretaceous, about 93 to 100 million years old. Brought back from my last trip to Kem Kem in Morocco in April 2018. Good luck bidding.
