A rare little apothecary jar from a Convent, early 18th century. The cherub's head painted on the jar shows how the object was commissioned by a religious order, certainly for the pharmacy of a Convent. Height about 23 cm, maximum width 15 cm. Base diameter cm 6.5. You will not find another item like this on the antiques market. This rare object was scrupulously guarded in a great collection of Florence majolica. It is a one-of-a-kind object to own. It has been restored; the surface shows small shortcomings. To prevent post-sale complaints, please, take a close look at the numerous pictures, which clearly highlight the object and its condition.
