A late 19th century etagere ('dumb waiter') serving table consisting of 2 platters.
Used to be used to place food when food was served by the butlers during a big dinner, this version has an extra extended leaf at the lockable drawer with key.
Unfolded the leaf measures: approx. 93x47cm
The mahogany leaves with beautiful wooden structure.
Stands on the original castors, easy to move.
In England this furniture is commonly referred to as a "Whatnot", a beautiful nickname.
