A Napoleonic staff officer sword - France, 1st empire
Interesting fact, the Napoleonic symbol originaly on the shell-guard has been anciently erased.
It was a common use, after the fall of empire, when the Napoleonic officer continued is military career during the restoration period.
Silvered bronze mount and ebony grip.
Triangular blade with blued and gilt decoration.
Fairly good condition. Strong and solid, no movement.
