For the record:
René Bonnet, born on 27 December 1904 in Vaumas (Allier) and died on 13 January 1983, was a French businessman who, together with Charles Deutsch founded the car brand DB active until 1962. Wanting to continue in the business after DB ceased operations, he founded his own brand, Automobiles René Bonnet, based in Champigny-sur-Marne. Due to the sale slump of his cars, he had to sell his business to his majority shareholder, Matra.
