Molteni & Co original and signed stool.

A very elegant swivel stool with column and foot in aluminium and seat upholstered in the original grey fabric. Dimensions: height 60 cm, base width 50 cm, seat width 35 cm diameter. The seat is swivel but not adjustable in height. The fabric is original and intact with a very elegant colour that matches any environment.
Molteni & Co was founded as an artisan company in 1934 by Angelo Molteni, an entrepreneur among the promoters of the Salone Internazionale del Mobile (International Furniture Fair). In the first post-war period, they made furniture starting from the trunk and covering all the production phases. In 1969 there was a complete conversion to designer furniture, followed by the purchase of the companies Unifor and Citterio, in the office sector and, in 1979, of Dada, a company of kitchen furniture. After the architects Aldo Rossi, Afra and Tobia Scarpa, he collaborated with some international designers, Jean Nouvel, Aldo Rossi, Luca Meda, Foster and Partners, Patricia Urquiola, Rodolfo Dordoni, Hannes Wetts. Molteni & Co received the Compasso d'Oro in 1994.
