Manu De Mey - Girl in White Wintercoat

Manu De Mey was born in Antwerp in 1965, his mother a British artist and his father a Flemish accountant.

With his art, Manu tries to create something visually striking to convey a strong emotion. Manu's world is populated with sad, melancholic people with suppressed emotion, often beautiful but damaged woman.

Manu has already had several expositions, including the prestigious Accessible Art Fair (ACAF) in the Bozar, Brussels and has sold works all over the world, including USA, Hong Kong, Ukraine, and all over Europe.

Any "unfinishedness", scratching and/or scars in the canvas are deliberate and this is a signature style of the artist.
